I've arleady installed the Realtek drivers. Hi BSA, I came across this post while searching for a way microsoft uaa sp3 get my sound card to work. This isn't exactly my problem in fact I tried the fix, with no luckbut you seem like you might know enough to help me out.
I reinstalled XP with a slipstreamed SP3 disk, and downloaded all the necessary drivers from Dell, based on my service tag number. Everything installed fine, except my sound card, which isn't even detected by Windows. However, in the boot diagnostics, my speakers microsoft uaa sp3 fine, so I'm certain it's a software problem, and more specifically a windows problem. Most importantly, it does NOT detect any unknown question-marked devices which might be a sound card. At this point, I've officially run out of ideas.
SP3 - UAA Bus Driver - Windows XP Home and Professional
I've tried installing a number of different drivers Conexant, Realtek, Intel, based on different suggestions I've found on the web, as well as played with the order of installation of the Sigmatel and Creative drivers in relation to each other and to the chipset drivers from Dell. I understand if you don't care to do microsoft uaa sp3 support for me, but at this point my remaining solution is to buy an external soundcard, so I figure I might microsoft uaa sp3 well ask. I'll gladly provide any additional info you might need. Hey Bismuth, I not really sure if this can help you, but I'd give a chance Unfortunately, my PnP SD Emulator driver is installed and working, and that second link focuses mostly on Vista, but thanks for replying anyway.
Personally, I would just uninstall it since the only time you need it is to see what processes are running that aren't being displayed in Processes in the Task Manager.Sometime ago I had an issue with Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 3 and I quickly found out none of HD audio/modem devices where recognized even after.
